»Cosmic staircase«
In
Verbindung mit dem Eröffnungsprogramm veranstalten die Musiktage in
Zusammenarbeit mit den Soester Schulen einen Workshop für jugendliche
Schülerinnen und Schüler. Der Workshop unter dem Titel »Cosmic
staircase« verwendet Zeit in ähnlicher Weise wie John Cages »Thirty Pieces«, die Idee basiert aber auf Cages Orchesterwerk »Atlas eclipticalis«. Es wurde vom Cellisten des Kairos Quartetts entwickelt und wird von den Musikern des Kairos Quartetts gemeinsam mit den Schülern erarbeitet. Eine interne
abschließende Aufführung ist im Treppenhaus des Aldegrever-Gymnasiums
geplant.
