This was a special concert project, entitled “Shimmering” “Schimmern”, wihich included a world premieres by the Slowenian composer Larisa Vrhunc of her quartet Vertical with the realization of the optional part of a number of other players (in this case ten) improvizing on materials of the quartet as a ripieno group for the quartet. It was a great experience, for us and for the students, with two preceding evenings to prepare the materail in a worshop with the students.
